Four steps, and you can stop after any one of them.
Nothing here locks you in. Each step produces something you keep, and each one ends with a decision that is yours rather than ours.

STEP 01
A free 30 minute call
You describe what is slow, repetitive or falling through the cracks. We ask a few questions and tell you honestly whether there is anything worth doing. Sometimes there is not, and we will say so.
Free, no obligation -
STEP 02
The AI Readiness Audit
We sit with the people actually doing the work and follow a job from first enquiry to money in the bank. We look at the real systems, the real spreadsheets and the workarounds nobody mentions in meetings.
Fixed fee, agreed in writing first -
STEP 03
A map and a costed plan
Every workflow written down in plain English. Opportunities ranked by what they are worth against what they cost to build. The reasoning is shown, so you can argue with it.
Yours to keep either way -
STEP 04
Build one, then hand it over
We build the highest-value workflow first, run it alongside the manual process until it has earned trust, train your team, and document it. Then, and only then, we look at the next one.
Live roughly 2 to 3 weeks after the audit
Three shapes, depending on how much there is to do.
The shape is set out below. The figures are not, because they depend on your business and we will not pretend otherwise. Exact numbers are agreed with you in writing before any work starts, and there are no figures anywhere on this site for that reason.
- The workflow map
- Ranked opportunities with reasoning
- A costed roadmap
- Yours whether or not you continue
- We build and run the workflows from the roadmap
- Monitoring, and fixing things when they break
- Changes as your business changes
- Cancel and keep what has been built
- Everything in Automate
- An agreed budget for new work each month
- We stay across the whole operation, not one workflow
- For businesses automating steadily over a year or more
If a tier is more than you need, we will tell you that too. Most businesses should start at Audit and go no further until it has paid for itself.
You own all of it. This is not negotiable, it is just how we work.
What you own
- Every account, in your business name, on your billing. Not resold through us.
- The workflows themselves, and the configuration behind them.
- Written documentation for each one, in plain English, kept current.
- The audit map and roadmap, from the moment they are delivered.
- Your data. All of it, exportable, at any time.
What that means in practice
If you stop working with Mergical tomorrow, everything keeps running and somebody else can pick it up by reading the documentation. There is no hostage situation, no proprietary layer you have to keep paying for, and no account we hold the keys to.
We think this is the only honest way to sell automation to a small business, and it is also the reason we are careful about what we build in the first place.
Careful with your information.
- Business-tier AI services with no-training terms, so your documents are not used to train anybody's model.
- Access scoped per workflow. An invoice process gets to see invoices, not the whole business.
- Australian privacy obligations taken seriously, including for the details your customers give you.
If a workflow would need access to something sensitive that it does not strictly need, we design it differently or we do not build it. This comes up more often than you would expect, and it is usually solvable.
